I Found You (2 poems)

Mallard Me
Mallard me, mallard duck
With all the male markings;
Mallard her, Mallard duck
Just brown through and throughout;
Mallard her, I love.
Mallard me, a buck;
A buck of one
And one to fuck.
The Water is Wide
The water is wide,
that on high tide, even wider,
but in the night,
and under the moon,
we made love undrowningly.
The water is deep;
Let me help you, cross it,
And it is you that comes first,
and you that I will lead by hand
as You lead, by heart!
The waters we passed;
There is now no turning back.
The rivers and the seas don't scare,
as you and I,
we never wear.
